As of now, the year 2015 has presented itself with both challenges and movements that we hope will bring progression. It seems as though as if we’re in the midst of a waiting pool, hoping for the tide turn and hoping for wrongs to be made right. 

Approaching the subject of politics, is never an easy task considering our beliefs and differences often divide us. While one citizen, may be proclaiming Obama is an outstanding president another be stating he hasn’t done enough. 

Hillary Clinton is an icon for a multitude of reasons, one being she is a woman in a field that is vastly populated by men. She serves as proof that a woman can hold a place in office and shape progress. 

Hillary’s resume is lengthy considering all that she’s done throughout her lengthy career. She has been the United States Secretary of State serving under President Barack Obama, she was the First Lady of the United States when Bill Clinton became President, she is also the only First Lady to ever run for public office when she was elected as the first female senator in New York. Now, Hillary Clinton will tackle the Oval Office as she sets her sights on the 2016 Presidential Election.
