Black and white looks stole the carpet this year with Sarah Jessica Parker in Oscar de la Renta, Charlize Theron in Christian Dior, and the ingenue Hailee Steinfeld looking very sophisticated in her Prabal Gurung gown. We love the shimmering blush tones of Karen Elson in Zac Posen, Dita Von Teese also in Zac Posen (with her scarlet accents), and Blake Lively in Gucci, not forgetting the daring hot pink Stella McCartney worn by Reese Witherspoon. Karolina Kurkova was a sculptural goddess in a hand-painted Marchesa, and Liu Wen was a living watercolor in her Zac Posen. Beyoncé and Jay-Z fit the theme with eloquence in Givenchy Haute Couture.
